MICAF is an international NGO which is registered in Kenya and stands to aid and improve the minority communities in Africa. The organization was founded in 2011, MICAF services the entire society in particular those who were sidelined and humiliated from other communities.MICAF is one of the best leading national and international humanitarian NGOs working to assist vulnerable people so as to achieve social and economic well being. According to MICAF’s study, internal clashes are increased by and battle over ethnic, linguistic, religious and cultural matters to a major degree.Yet, many disagreements that have minority community’s rights at their centre are not unspoken as such, and minority rights are not effectively integrated into conflict prevention policy or put into practice at the international level. Our result on this area to date reveal that, particularly in fragile or transition states, a greater commitment to understanding and implementing minority rights by governments – in particular the full inclusion and participation of minority groups in decision-making processes – is critical in preventing tensions and grievances escalating into actual violent conflict. The publications produced as part of this programme continue to be highly valued as analyses of conflict, and provide clear recommendations to government and civil society on the way forward.
